Anna Rewekant
Psychiatrist
Doctor Anna Rewekant provides psychiatric care to our Polish- and English-speaking patients. Anna Rewekant graduated from the Medical University in Poznań with a congratulatory letter.
On a daily basis, she works at the psychiatric ward at the Neuropsychiatric Center in Kościan. In everyday practice, she provides psychiatric care to:
- mood disorders
- anxiety, neurotic and stress-related disorders (also minority stress)
- schizophrenia and other psychoses,
- compulsive behavior and obsessive thoughts,
- insomnia,
- thoughts of suicide
- and other.
During her studies, she was involved in the Permanent Program for Reproductive and Sexual Health at the International Association of Medical Students IFMSA-Poland, she participated in numerous international internships, including in Malta, Italy and Thailand. She has also expanded her knowledge at many national and international conferences and symposia.
Doctor Anna completed her postgraduate internship in Konin, in the largest hospital in Greater Poland. In addition, she completed postgraduate studies: "Clinical Sexuology - Opinion, Education, Therapy." She is an active member of the Postgraduate Education Section at the Polish Psychiatric Association and a member of the research team of the international study: "Assessment of the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic on mental health." She is constantly expanding her knowledge during psychiatric conferences and trainings. In everyday practice she deals with treatment of mood disorders, neurotic and stress-related disorders, including minority stress, treatment of schizophrenia and disorders related to taking psychoactive substances.
